Child and Infant Care Subsidies

Scheme and Eligibility Criteria Amount Eligibility
Basic Subsidy for Infant Care and Childcare

  • Child is a Singapore citizen
  • Child is enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care/childcare centre
For a working mother (working at least 56 hours a month):

  • Up to $600 for infant care
  • Up to $300 for childcare

For a non-working mother:

  • Up to $150 for infant care
  • Up to $150 for childcare
Additional Subsidy for Infant Care and Childcare

  • Child is a Singapore citizen
  • Child is enrolled in an ECDA-licensed infant care/childcare centre
  • Parent is working 56 hours or more per month
  • Gross monthly household income is $7,500 and below, or per capita income is $1,875 and below
  • Up to $540 for infant care
  • Up to $440 for childcare
Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS)

  • Child is a Singapore citizen
  • Child is enrolled in a kindergarten operated by Anchor Operators or the Ministry of Education
  • Gross monthly household income is $6,000 and below, or per capita income is $1,500 and below
Up to 99% of monthly kindergarten fees, or up to $170
Start-Up Grant

  • Child is a Singapore citizen
  • Child is enrolled in a kindergarten operated by Anchor Operators or the Ministry of Education
  • Gross monthly household income is $1,900 and below, or per capita income is $650 and below
